Brian Lowder, Founder of Reno Rennsport approached Nathan about purchasing the VIVID VANS company black and white Syncro Doka truck. We discussed the trucks value and how the vehicle could be picked up. We then realized that Brian was likely going to sell his speed demon desert Syncro "Goldie", and that a trade might just be a possibility. The challenge being the fact that Goldie was registered in Nevada, and the Doka in BC. Brian and Nathan began to make calls to both sides of the US/Canada border, and after Brian and his wife Denise drove up to collect the Doka, we realized that Goldie had to spend 3 more days in the US before she could be imported into Canada. A few more phone calls later, we met at the Sumas port of entry and drove each others new vans into their new homes.

Engine
Goldie has a Subaru SVX H6 engine which puts out 240hp.
Transmission
The only way Goldie was going to be able to handle 240 horses thundering under her hood was with a regeared transmission. She has a Porsche builder built transmission with Weddle gearing, taller 3rd and 4th gears, Porsche 944 axles, and a big shot shifter for smooth power transfer.

Exterior
We took Goldie to the next level by: Changing out square headlights for a South African grille. KC 7 inch LED round's to make six LED headlights, rally style. Removing the dated GoWesty bumpers and adding Rocky Mountain Westy twin peak bumpers front and rear. Eight roof racks up top for that arachnid look.

Tires and Rims
A match made in van heaven: an iconic rim that is both strong and lightweight, and a beefy tire with cutting edge off road traction and stability. Goldie is rocking genuine Porsche Fuch rims on BFGoodrich Mud Terrain 3's
